Accelerate the fourteenth studio album by the American released on March 31, 2008 in Europe, and on April 1 in North America. Produced with Jacknife Lee. Leading up to its release REM played a number of shows in the USA and Europe. The band also toured for the first time since the 2004/05 Around the Sun tour.
